I ♥ bendy straws
I thought bendy straws had gone the way of the El Camino and all but disappeared, but let me assure you they are alive and well in Taiwan. Virtually every drink of any kind is served with a straw, typically a bendy one.

I love bendy straws! The best part is the sound they make when you stretch them out. BRRRAAAAAP! *sigh* I'll have to go to Taiwan just for those. : )
Oh my gosh...the El Camino! I just saw one on the way home from work yesterday.
Hmm.... just read my response, and thought I better clarify and make that TAIPEI, not TAIWAN. Oops! Darn Americans!
And now I feel like even more of an idiot since I recently checked to see exactly where Taipei is and discovered it is, in fact, in Taiwan....
